JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 18, 2025 – Throughout history, tea parties have been a way for people to spend quality time together with family and friends. And quality time is the best gift you can give someone – especially your mother!
Join the park team Saturday, May 3, at noon for a tea party to celebrate a mother in your life. The party will be held in the interpretive center at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site, located at 200 S. Main St. in St. Charles. Interpreter Emily will serve different types of tea and a light sandwich lunch while covering the history of tea from antiquity to the present. The program is free, but registration is required and can be completed by calling 636-940-3322.
