Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 26, 2023 – Join Wallace State Park Saturday, Oct. 28 for the annual Fall Fun Event. Guests should meet at the campground amphitheater for all programs and activities.

The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and the full schedule follows:

  • 10 a.m. – Find the Pumpkin! Hikers who find the hidden pumpkins on the trails will win a special prize.
  • 1 p.m. – “The Day Shift” Operation Wildlife will present this program featuring live birds of prey.
  • 7 p.m. – Halloween Campsite Decorating and Pumpkin Carving/Decorating Contest Judging and Awards Transform your campsite with lights and decorations for the annual Halloween Campsite Decorating Contest. Please keep decorations family-friendly and safe for people and wildlife. Visitors are encouraged to walk through the campgrounds from 7 to 9 p.m. to view the decorations.

Park team members will serve treats to everyone. Wallace State Park is located at 10621 NE Highway 121 in Cameron.
