JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 18, 2022 – Join Cuivre River State Park team members and the Cuivre River Chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of Missouri as they recognize the efforts of the AmeriCorps NCCC crew at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 23.

The AmeriCorps NCCC crew worked this summer at the park completing trail improvements. The project’s goal was to move heavily damaged and eroded sections of Connector 2 and a section of the Cuivre River Trail South Loop to improve riding and hiking experiences for trail users. The crew also worked to clear trail corridors in other sections of the park.

The ceremony will recognize and thank the AmeriCorps NCCC crew members for their hard work on this project. Prior to the ceremony, members of the Cuivre River Chapter of the Backcountry Horsemen of Missouri, the AmeriCorps NCCC crew and park team members will be available to answer questions.
