Public Water Supply District No. 1 of Pike County, Missouri is requesting bids for constructing a waterline extension. Separate sealed bids may be submitted at the district office, located at 1106 W. Adams, Bowling Green, MO 63334, until Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025 at 2 p.m. local time. At that time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read. 

The work to be performed under this contract consists of installing approximately 8,640 feet of 8-inch waterline and related appurtenances.

This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri. Neither the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, its divisions, nor its employees will be party to the contract at any tier.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

The Issuing Office for the bidding documents is Four Points Land Surveying & Engineering Inc., 17 Northport Plaza, Hannibal, MO 63401. 

Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office Monday through Friday between  7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Printed copies or electronic copies of the bidding documents may be obtained from the issuing office, upon submitting a non-refundable $50 fee for each set. Upon request the documents may be shipped by priority mail or standard ground service at no additional charge. Expedited shipping is at the expense of the bidder. Partial sets of the bidding documents will not be available from the issuing office. 

Bidding documents also may be examined at the districts office at 1106 W. Adams, Bowling Green, Missouri, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Neither the owner nor engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the issuing office.

Instructions to Bidders

Bids shall be on a Unit Price and Lump Sum basis as indicated on the bid form. Bid security shall be furnished according to the Instructions to Bidders.

Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are explained in the specifications.
