The Rocky Mount Sewer District is requesting bids for Phase 3 sewer system improvements. Sealed bids may be submitted at the Rocky Mount Sewer District office, located at 27539 Highway W, Suite 201, Rocky Mount, MO 65072, until Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. local time. At that time, all bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids sent by the USPS should be addressed to: Jared Wheaton, PE, Alpha Engineering and Surveying, 3048 S. Hwy 52, Eldon, MO 65026.
The work to be performed under this contract consists of approximately 185 new residential connections and the regionalization of the Timber Lake Village Homeowners Association, consisting of 140 condos and townhomes. The collection system will include 103 grinder pump stations and a pressurized force main system, for a total of 54,260 feet plus or minus of 1 ½-inch to 6-inch small diameter pressure line. The connections are located mainly along the shoreline of Lake of the Ozarks. The second part of the project will include improvements at the wastewater treatment facility with the additions of an auger style flow EQ, Sludge holding, dewatering slab, lift station and additional outfall.
This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri. Neither the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, its divisions, nor its employees will be party to the contract at any tier.

Prospective bidders may examine the bidding documents at the issuing office Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Bidding document may be obtained from the issuing office by electronic file share after the issuing office receives payment of a non-refundable $50 fee for the bidding documents. The fee must be payable to Alpha Engineering and Surveying LLC. Upon the issuing office’s receipt of payment, the bidding documents will be sent by a file sharing email link.
Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available from the issuing office. Neither the Rocky Mount Sewer District nor engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of bidding documents, including Addenda, if any obtained from sources other than the issuing office.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance wit the Instructions to Bidders.
