The city of Maitland, Missouri is requesting proposals for services to complete a lead service line inventory and/ or provide lead service line replacement plan services. All proposals, including price for the services, must be mailed to City of Maitland, P.O. Box 208, Maitland, MO 64466, or received at City Hall, 217 Main St., Maitland, Missouri by Monday, April 1, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. local time. Late proposals will not be considered. Electronic proposals will not be considered. Conditional proposals will not be accepted. Proposals must be sealed and clearly labeled with the entity’s name and address on the outside of the envelope. Proposals will be opened and read publicly on April 8, 2024.
This project is financed through the Missouri State Revolving Fund, by the Water and Wastewater Loan Revolving Fund and federal Capitalization Grants to Missouri.
Request for Proposals
The city of Maitland is requesting proposals for services to complete a lead service line inventory services. The completed lead service line inventory spreadsheet should adhere to 40 CFR 141.84. The city has an estimated 207 service lines.
The city of Maitland is requesting pricing for several services as part of this project: records review services, in-field verification services and administrative services. Bidders must provide a price on the below proposal form for each service requested. Proposals that fail to provide a price for all services will not be considered. Bidders should be aware that they will be expected to complete forms required by the state funding agency. Additionally, there will be language requirements and forms from the state funding agency that will need to be incorporated into the final contract that is signed by the city and selected bidder.
Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order Number 11246. Requirements for bidders and contractors under this order are further explained at the link provided below. The appropriate state and federal wage rates are applicable to this project.
