The application period for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Regionalization Incentive Grant is now open. This grant program offers pass-through grant funding to municipalities for developing facility plans or sewer extension construction projects to connect small, struggling facilities outside its political boundary who currently discharge effluent to Missouri waterways. Eligible projects include those to connect or evaluate the feasibility of connecting another municipality or private non-profit wastewater treatment facility. The department will evaluate proposals through a competitive application cycle and offer funds as established by the grant guidance.
Deadline to submit a proposal is March 1, 2024. Applications received or postmarked after March 1 are not considered until the following year, assuming funds are available. For more information, including the grant application and procedures, visit the department's CWSRF Regionalization Incentive Grant webpage.
