The department will hold a public hearing regarding a new Master General Permit, MO-G330000, which pertains to subsurface and subsurface-to-surface discharges of impacted water originating from closed and controlled historic contaminated sites, such as those containing coal combustions residuals (bottom ash, slag, fly ash and other similar electrical generation waste products) or other contaminated sites where wastes remain, such as pre-law landfills not otherwise regulate.
