The department is holding a public meeting to introduce proposed amendments to wastewater effluent regulation 10 CSR 20-7.015(9)(B)2. These amendments are designed to incorporate requirements for nutrient reduction targets for the following:

  • All domestic point sources with a design flow of ≥1MGD
  • All industrial facilities categorized as Major that typically discharge phosphorus in their industrial wastewater

These amendments are intended to advance implementing Missouri’s Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy. This meeting will be combined with the Missouri Nutrient Trading Program meeting. For more information, refer to the links below.
