Missouri State Energy Planning (MoSEP) Stakeholder Workgroup

This is the first…

Area of Focus: Energy
Event Type: Meeting
Organization: Missouri State Energy Planning (MoSEP) Stakeholder Workgroup

This is the first Missouri State Energy Planning (MoSEP) Process Stakeholder Group meeting for the Kansas City Region. The core goal of the regional meetings is to identify and address initiatives in each region that are critical to Missouri’s current and future energy needs. For the purposes of the Missouri State Energy Planning (MoSEP) process, an initiative is defined as: any work, effort, process, or project that contributes toward the advancement, achievement, or support of any of the six core values defined in the MoSEP Value Statement that are regionally relevant, consensus-based, actionable, time-bound, and measureable. The MoSEP Value Statement can be found on page 7 of the Summary and Action Report, presented in the following link: Summary and Action Report.  As you may recall, the Summary and Action Report was distributed in May 2021 and presented the key activities of the MoSEP process to date as well as a framework for the energy planning process going forward.
