In addition to our loans and financial assistance, homeowners can take steps to make their homes more energy efficient and save money by following our energy saving tips and by purchasing ENERGY STAR® appliances. There are multiple ways to fund business and industry energy efficiency or renewable energy projects. The U.S. Department of Agriculture provides grants and loans as part of its Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) and there are Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) Districts throughout the state that provide upfront financing for energy projects.
