JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 14, 2021 – Staff members at Sam A. Baker State Park invite the public to join them for an evening of Halloween frights and fun on Saturday, Oct. 23. The public is encouraged to dress up as their favorite character and trick-or-treat their way around the campgrounds.
The evening will include Halloween games, interpretive activities, free food, haunted hikes, storytelling and s'mores around a campfire. Activities will take place around the Mudlick Mountain Store and Grill. Participants should bring a flashlight.
- 4-6 p.m. – Trick-or-treating at the campgrounds
- 5-7 p.m. – Free food
- 5-8 p.m. – Activities, games, goblin photo op, Wee Ones Hike and more
- 5:30-8 p.m. – Haunted hike (no pets, please)
- 7:30-8 p.m. – Campfire program
Free parking is available. In the case of severe weather, the event will be postponed until Oct. 30 or canceled.
