JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 10, 2021 – Interpreters at Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site invite the public to grab a cup of coffee and join them virtually at noon Friday, Jan. 21 on the Nathan and Olive Boone Homestead State Historic Site’s Facebook page.

In pre-Civil War southwest Missouri, Delaware Town played an important role in bringing Native American and European cultures together at the confluence of the James River and Wilson’s Creek. Todd Wilkinson, project manager for the James River Basin Partnership, will discuss how local waterways were vital to the early settlements in the Ozarks.
