JEFFERSON CITY, MO, June 9, 2021 – Missouri State Museum and the Daniel Boone Regional Library invite the public to a Missouri Trailblazers virtual program featuring Laura Ingalls Wilder at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 15.
Even before writing her first “Little House” book, Wilder was making contributions to educational and inspirational literature for Missouri’s farm folks. Her life as a child, teenager and adult had challenges that seemed insurmountable – just like challenges faced in 2020 and 2021 with the unexpected pandemic.
Adults and teens are invited to attend. Participants must register online here: events.dbrl.org/event/5102675
This program is a monthly series in honor of Missouri's bicentennial, highlighting Missouri’s most significant trailblazers who have had an impact on our culture through major events, leadership, innovation and more.
