JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 31, 2021 – Amateur and professional bakers alike are invited to design a birthday cake for Missouri's bicentennial. The cakes will be judged by guests of the Missouri Bicentennial Bash and Commemoration at First Missouri State Capitol State Historic Site on Saturday, Aug. 7.

Entries can be submitted two ways – by emailing a photo of the cake to emily.geno@dnr.mo.gov by 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, or by bringing the cake to the Bicentennial Bash and Commemoration at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug 7. All entries must be communicated to the historic site by 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6.

The winner will receive a certificate of achievement and an additional prize.
