JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 3, 2018 - The U.S. Drought Monitor map has been updated and is on the department’s Drought website at https://dnr.mo.gov/drought.htm. No new counties entered D2 drought this week. Portions of three counties – Worth, Platte and Jackson – increased in intensity from D2 to D3 this week.

The next Drought Assessment Committee Meeting is scheduled for Wed., August 8, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Lewis and Clark State Office Building, 1101 Riverside Drive, in Jefferson City. The meeting is open to the public and will be Livestreamed online at https://stateofmo.adobeconnect.com/drought.
