JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 8, 2021 – Dr. Edmund A. Babler State Park staff members invite the public to come explore the night sky at the park with the St. Louis Astronomical Society Saturday, Sept. 25. Telescopes will be pointed at a variety of objects, including Jupiter and its moons, Saturn and its rings, and the many star clusters, nebulae and galaxies. Participants are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and binoculars. The event will be held at the Babler Monument Field from 8-10 p.m.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.

Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park is located at 800 Guy Park Drive in Wildwood, west of St. Louis. For more information about the meeting, contact the park at 636-458-3813.
