JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 25, 2021 – Staff members at Crowder State Park invite the public to the Shelter 3 parking lot at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6 for a guided 7.5-mile hike on a portion of Tall Oaks Trail and all of South Thompson Trail.
Participants will learn about plants, trees and animals along the way. South Thompson Trail can be accessed only by walking a portion of either Tall Oaks Trail or North Thompson Trail.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, bring water and a snack, and wear comfortable hiking shoes.
The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
