JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 24, 2021 – Staff members at Knob Noster State Park invite the public to celebrate the park’s 75th birthday with a History Hallowfest from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. The event will be at the Camp Bobwhite Group Camp, located off Highway DD. The event is free and welcome for all ages. Frosty Morn Trio will be playing traditional acoustic music at the Camp Bobwhite amphitheater during the event.
Hallowfest will have have several activities and demonstrations running the duration of the event unless other noted. These include:
- Halloween Games.
- Self-guided Spooky Scavenger Hike.
- 2-7 p.m. Hay rides every 45 minutes; hay rides are limited to approximately 25 people per ride.
- Creepy Crawler Program.
- Obstacle Course for Kids.
- Lion's Club Food Stand.
- Hip Hop Poppin' Kettle Corn Vendor.
- Knob Noster Revitalization Commission Booth.
The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
