Release Date

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 12, 2021 – Staff members at Bennett Spring State Park invite the public to join park and historic site specialist Hayley Schnaath at the nature center for a trip through time at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16.

Before the days of Bennett Spring State Park, the valley now occupied by the park was home to the town of Brice, Missouri. The public is invited to view photos from the park’s collection and learn the history of the town.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
