JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 16, 2021 – Staff members at Bennett Spring State Park invite the public to the Bat Stroll and Roll at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. All ages are welcome to celebrate International Bat Week during this fun bat-themed activity.

Participants should meet at the nature center and are encouraged to wear bat costumes or fashion accessories as they take a stroll and roll on a paved road along the spring in Zone 1. There will be options for gravel/grass off-road opportunities on the fishing jetties as participants proceed to the spring head. Bat awareness activities will be done along the way. This activity will be near traffic, so caregivers need to be present with children.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.

Bennett Spring State Park is located at 26250 Highway 64A in Lebanon. For more information about the event,
