JEFFERSON CITY, MO, DEC. 1, 2021 – Arrow Rock State Historic Site staff members invite the public to experience an old-fashioned Christmas in the village from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11. The site buildings will be open and decorated for Christmas, and visitors can tour the buildings and visit with interpreters.

Visitors may stumble upon the judge and lawyer as they get ready to end the year in the Old Courthouse, travelers from the trail in the tap room of the tavern, young ladies preparing for Christmas and the schoolmarm taking a break in the academy, a family preparing for Christmas in the George Caleb Bingham Home, or a cook preparing Christmas dinner in the kitchen.

The pathway will be lit, but participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight.

The public is strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
