A proposed amendment to Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 20-6.030 Disposal of Wastewater in Residential Housing Developments, is now available for public review and comment until Aug. 23, 2024. All comments must be received or postmarked by 5 p.m. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment on Aug. 15, 2024. Please follow the link below for more information.

The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to set forth requirements for developers of residential housing to determine the method of wastewater disposal. This rule applies to all new residential housing developments and existing subdivisions that were required to comply with previous regulations which were effective June 30, 1974, June 26, 1975, May 15, 1984, or March 30, 1999, but have not received department approval.
