A proposed amendment to Code of State Regulations 10 CSR 20-8.200 Wastewater Treatment Lagoons, [and] Wastewater Irrigation Alternatives, and Earthen Basins, is now available for public review and comment until Aug. 23, 2024. All comments must be received or postmarked by 5 p.m. The department will hold a public hearing about the proposed amendment on Aug. 15, 2024. Please follow the link below for more information.

The purpose of this proposed rule amendment is to make administrative changes-correcting geohydrological to geohydrologic, add language regarding supplemental information submittal, clarify storage requirement calculations, replace lagoon with earthen basin when appropriate, alphabetize the county list, correct some typographical errors, and omissions from the list are corrected.
