Nucor Steel Sedalia LLC submitted a Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) air permit amendment application for its plant located in Sedalia, Missouri. The amendment application is to incorporate unanticipated annual and hourly production increases. The department reviewed the amendment application and proposes to issue a Prevention of Significant Deterioration Construction Permit amendment.
The department invites the public to review and offer written comments on the draft permit amendment until Oct. 12, 2022. All comments must be received or postmarked by 5 p.m. The public can review the amendment application and draft permit amendment below. Copies of the draft permit amendment, all materials the applicant submitted, other than those granted confidential treatment, and a summary of other materials, if any, considered in making the preliminary permit determination are available from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Air Pollution Control Program, PO Box 176, Jefferson City, MO 65102-0176, or by calling 573-751-4817.
