JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 3, 2022 – Come have fun with water while learning about streams and animals who live there while participating in activities designed for children and families. Join the team at Rock Bridge Memorial State Park as they, along with several other agencies and organizations, provide activities and displays at the water festival Saturday, July 16.
From 9 a.m. to noon, families can tour Connor’s Cave, catch aquatic animals in the stream, view a live turtle display and interactive stream model, and sign up for library cards. Information about birds and fish, as well as how to keep our streams healthy, will also be available. Children ages four and older can use nets to catch aquatic animals in the stream near the Devil’s Icebox parking lot.
