JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 18, 2019 – Washington State Park invites the public to its Independence Day weekend event celebration Thursday, July 4 through Sunday, July 6.
Events through the weekend include petroglyph and glade tours, and discovery tables throughout the park. At 7 p.m., Friday, July 5, participate in a watermelon seed spitting contest at the campground entrance. At 7 p.m., Saturday, July 6 meet at the campground amphitheater for a bike safety program, which will also include patriotic bike decorating and a bike parade through the campground.
