JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 25, 2019 – The public is invited to attend Washington State Park’s 10th Annual Fall Harvest Fest 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. This handmade item and craft fair will be held in the Big River Day Use Area at Shelter #2. Concessions and food items will be for sale by the Friends of Washington State Park. The fair will also feature crafts for kids and nature displays. The Riverbend Bluegrass Band from St. Louis will perform from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the shelter. Hayrides will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A petroglyph and glade guided interpretive tour will take place at 2 p.m. at the petroglyph site. The festival and its activities are free to attend.

Missouri Artisans and crafters are invited to attend this fair and display their arts. There is no vendor/booth fee for this event. If interested in signing up as a vendor, contact the park office. Last year's event attracted more than 500 visitors and 30 vendors, and park staff anticipate increased attendance again this year.
