JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 15, 2019 – Washington State Park invites the public to its Labor Day celebration Friday, Aug. 30 though Monday, Sept. 2. The celebration signals the end of the weekly programming series provided by the park’s interpretive staff throughout the summer.
The celebration begins at 7 p.m. Friday evening. Park staff will meet and greet guests and share exciting news about upcoming programs and events planned for the fall season at Washington State Park.
Events through the weekend include petroglyph and glade tours, and discovery tables throughout the park. In addition, staff will present programs in the campground amphitheater at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday evenings.
