JEFFERSON CITY, MO, OCT. 15, 2018 – Join Wallace State Park for its annual Fall Fun Event Saturday, Oct. 27. All park programs are free and open to the public.

Find the Pumpkin trail hiking adventure at 3 p.m. - Hikers who find the hidden pumpkins on the trails will win a special prize. Meet at the campground amphitheater for details.

Fun and Games at 5 p.m. - Join us for hedge apple bowling, monster ring toss and other games. All participants will win a prize. Meet at the playground by the shower house.

Halloween Campsite Decorating, Pumpkin Carving Contest Judging and Awards at 6:30 p.m. - Campers are encouraged to transform their campsites with lights and decorations for our annual Halloween Campsite Decorating Contest. Please keep decorations family-friendly and safe for people and wildlife. The park will serve treats for everyone. Bring your pumpkin to the campground amphitheater for judging.

Guided Night Hike at 7 p.m. – Hikers will view decorated campsites, call for owls and sniff spiders! Bring a flashlight and meet at the Campground Amphitheater.

Wallace State Park is located six miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From Interstate 35, take Exit 48, go south on Highway 69 for one-half mile, and then take Highway 121 for one mile to park entrance. For more information about the event, contact the park at 816-632-3745.
