JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 28, 2018 – Do you have a passion for hiking and nature? Do you enjoy observing and learning about new plants and animals? If so, join Van Meter Park staff at the park for a fun afternoon out in nature from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Meet at the small shelter house where you will craft a nature journal. Then put it to use out on the trail recording your natural surroundings. This event is free and open to the public.
