JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 13, 2018 –  Van Meter State Park will host a park-wide scavenger hunt team competition 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 21. Participants are invited to assemble a team, grab a cellphone or camera and search the park for all kinds of natural items. The first team to find and take a photo with each item will win a prize. This event is free and open to the public.
