JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 12, 2019 – Van Meter State Park invites the public to a volunteer meeting at 6 p.m., March 21. Attendees will learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, share ideas for events and programs within the park, as well as fill out volunteer paperwork to officially become a part of our team. Throughout the year many events and programs take place at Van Meter, and volunteers play a crucial role in making the park a welcoming and fun place to visit.
