JEFFERSON CITY, MO, AUG. 23, 2022 - Tracy Parker, a senior loan specialist with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ Division of Energy, has been selected as the State of Missouri and department Team Member of the Month for August 2022. Parker was selected for her
service to the department and for her efforts to consistently perform above and beyond the scope of her normal duties.
As part of her usual job duties, Parker assists farmers, educational institutions, hospitals, local governments, facility managers and anyone else who may have questions about energy programs. She also plays an integral role in preparing payment documents when reimbursement requests for grant funds are received and fields most of the phone calls from program participants. She has a passion for helping people in need.
Parker is responsible for the development and launch of the department’s $3 million Energize Missouri Agriculture Program and its overwhelming success. She invested several months creating program guidelines and application documents, and obtaining U.S. Department of Energy and department authorizations to proceed with the program. She also personally reviewed the documentation for 416 of the 443 program participation applications and prepared the corresponding encumbrance documents in response.
“No matter what the task, Tracy can always be counted on to deliver a superior effort and result,” said Craig Redmon, director of the department’s Division of Energy, who nominated her for the award. “She is very protective and passionate about the division’s programs, especially those that improve communities across the state, and this was evident in her willingness to field hours of calls while assisting Missouri’s agricultural community.”
Parker joined the department in September 2013 and resides in Jefferson City.
