JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 26, 2018 – Washington State Park will host its annual outdoor Thunderbird Theater event at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the park’s Campground Amphitheater.  

This year’s Thunderbird Theater will feature the Potosi High School Speech Team and its production of "The Adventures of Mouse Deer." This folktale features a series of stories about a quick-moving and quick-witted mouse deer as he navigates predators in the jungles of Asia and Africa. This event is fun for all ages and the performance is free to attend. The Friends of Washington State Park volunteer group will sell popcorn and drinks to enjoy during the show.

Participants should dress appropriately for this outdoor theater experience, and insect repellent is recommended.
