Release Date

The Missouri State Museum’s newest program series, "Storytime Saturdays" continues each Saturday in April. Through May 23, join staff on Saturday mornings at 11 a.m. for a series of stories and interactive programs on Missouri’s history and natural resources. "Storytime Saturdays" will focus on families with children aged 3 – 6 years, though all are welcome to attend.   Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the programs will be held in various locations throughout the museum’s History and Resources halls in the State Capitol.
Program themes for April include:

April 4: The Underground Railroad
April 11: Charlie Parker and his Music
April 18: Missouri’s Rocks and Minerals
April 25: Dogs in the Civil War
