On Feb. 6, the Missouri State Museum will open its 2016 "Storytime Saturdays" program series. Through May 28, visitors can join staff each Saturday morning at 11 a.m. for a series of stories and interactive programs on Missouri’s history and natural resources. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the programs will be held in various locations throughout the museum’s History and Resources halls in the State Capitol. "Storytime Saturdays" will focus on families with children aged 3-6 years.
Program themes for February include:
February 6: A True Story of Henry Brown and the Underground Railroad
February 13: Fossils!
February 20: Charlie Parker and His Music
February 27: Bees!
The Missouri State Museum, which is part of the Missouri state park system, is located on the first floor of the Missouri State Capitol.
