JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB. 25, 2019 – The Missouri State Museum will host an opening reception for "Join, Save or Buy" from 4 to 7 p.m., March 11. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the exhibit opening will be held at the Elizabeth Rozier Gallery, Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St., Jefferson City.
"Join, Save or Buy" is an exhibit showcasing 48 differing U.S. propaganda posters collected in Missouri during and immediately following World War I. Students and faculty at Truman State University researched and wrote labels for each poster selected from the collections at the E.M. Violette Museum on campus. The Missouri State Museum has worked with Truman State University to adapt the exhibit to travel, with its first stop at the Rozier Gallery.
