JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 5, 2018 – Professional Photographer Al Griffin will lead a photo walk at Bennett Spring State Park 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the park’s nature center. This photo event is free and open to anyone interested in taking better pictures of the natural beauty in the Ozarks.
The event will begin with a discussion of the photographic principles and techniques to be practiced during the walk. The walk will end with a question/answer session about the successes and challenges encountered during the walk.
Participants are encouraged to bring a camera and dress appropriately for outdoor weather, including comfortable shoes. Insect repellent is also recommended. Different brands and types of cameras, including cell phone cameras, are welcome.
Al Griffin, who serves as a park volunteer, is a professional photographer who does commercial and fine art photography. Griffin's commercial work has been published in various magazines and his fine art images have been exhibited in New York and Paris.
