JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 16, 2020 – Join staff for a guided hike at Saturday, Feb. 1, to see what the prairie has to offer this time of year. Don’t forget your camera! Be prepared for a 2-mile hike over uneven terrain. Bring water, snacks, a hat and sunscreen. Dress for the weather as the winds can be strong this time of year, and wear sturdy shoes. Binoculars will be useful for looking at bison as well as other wildlife that may be out and about. Registration is required and limited to 50 people.
