JEFFERSON CITY, MO, FEB.13, 2019 – Join park staff in celebrating the Great Backyard Bird Count Saturday, Feb. 16, at Dr. Edmund A. Babler Memorial State Park.
Take a hike and survey the park for Babler State Park’s resident and visiting avian friends. Hikes will take place on the Hawthorn Trail from 8 to 10 a.m. and the Woodbine Trail from 1 to 3 p.m. For the Hawthorn Trail hike, meet at the Alta Shelter parking lot. For the Woodbine Trail hike, meet at the Guy Park Drive Trailhead. Bring your favorite pair of binoculars and sturdy boots and dress for the weather!
