Release Date

Guests can experience an afternoon of old-time Missouri folk arts at Current River State Park on Saturday, May 30. Sponsored by the Missouri Arts Council and Missouri State Parks, the program will be 1-4 p.m..

Activities will include storytelling, clawhammer banjo and guitar music, old time fiddle playing and gig making. Visitors should bring a lawn chair or blanket to watch Missouri folk artists perform. The event is free and open to the public.

Current River State Park is located approximately 27 miles south of Salem, Missouri or 15 miles north of Eminence, Missouri on Hwy 19.
