JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JULY 17, 2019 – Anyone interested photographing  nature and learning new photography skills should attend the "Nature Photography Is Easy" workshop Saturday, Aug. 3 at Thousand Hills State Park. The workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the park’s enclosed shelter.

Beginner and amateur photographers can bring their camera or cellphone, along with its manual, for tips and tricks on how to turn a snapshot into a masterpiece. The principles of photography will be practiced and applied to all cameras equally.  Participants will learn that success in photography does not depend upon equipment as much as technique.

Thousand Hills State Park is located two miles west of Kirksville on Hwy. 157. For more information and to register for the event, call the park at 660-665-6995.
