JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 18, 2018 – Missouri State Parks, a Division of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, is soliciting bids for a food and resale concession operation at St. Joe State Park. 

The concession building is a permanent structure located in the park’s off-road vehicle staging area. The facility has hot running water, electricity and propane. The building has an area for food storage, preparation and serving. It also has a small area designated for resale items, such as T-shirts, flags and souvenir items. The successful bidder shall enter into a concession contract with Missouri State Parks to manage and operate the food/resale concession. 

St. Joe State Park provides a variety of recreational opportunities, including camping, off road vehicle trails, swimming, fishing, bicycling and hiking. The park’s estimated annual attendance for 2016 was more than 600,000 visitors, with over 7,000 camping nights sold and more than 30,000 off-road vehicle permits sold.
