JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MARCH 27, 2019 – Missouri State Parks will hold its biannual Missouri Trails advisory board meeting at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 6.

The meeting will be held in the Missouri State Parks office located at 1659 E. Elm St., in Jefferson City. This meeting is open to the public.

The agenda includes reviewing and scoring the 2019 Recreational Trails Program grant applications and updates on the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan.

The Missouri Trails Advisory Board consists of nine voting members appointed by the Missouri State Parks division director. New board members are appointed based upon experience with trail use and construction, community involvement, trail user group participation, ability to represent other trail users, ability to devote adequate time to the duties, and knowledge and experience with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
