JEFFERSON CITY, MO, MAY 21, 2019 – The Missouri State Museum is offering a fun twist for its returning summer programming with interactive programs for all ages, Tuesdays in June.
"Learning @ 11" is a series of interactive programs exploring various aspects of Missouri’s cultural and natural history specifically focused on ages 4-7 using activity-based programming. Programs will be held from 11 to 11:45 a.m. each Tuesday during June. Dates and program themes are listed below:
- June 4 - Babies in the mall?
- June 11 - Freemont Spotlights the American West
- June 18 - The Pony Express: Bold, Brave and Brief
- June 25 - How do insects communicate?
"Tuesdays @ 2" is a similar program focused on ages 8-12 using activity-based programming. The dates and program themes will be the same as the "Learning @ 11" but the programs will be held from 2 to 2:45 p.m. each Tuesday.
Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the programs will be held in the Lohman Building, Jefferson Landing State Historic Site, 100 Jefferson St. in Jefferson City.
