Release Date

Missouri State Museum will continue its Learning@ 11 and Tuesdays@ 2 series in August. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the series will explore various aspects of Missouri’s cultural and natural history. The programs will be held in the History Hall of the Missouri State Museum, First Floor, Missouri State Capitol.   

Focused on activities for children ages 4-7, Learning@ 11 is an activity-based summer program series bringing Missouri history and natural resources alive. Program themes for Learning@ 11 in August include:

August 11: The Dance of the Honey Bee
August 18: Volcanoes!
August 25: Cannon Program

Later in the afternoon, Tuesdays@ 2 is specifically geared towards those ages 8-12.  Program themes for Tuesdays@ 2 in August include:

August 11: Honey and So Much More
August 18: Volcanoes in Missouri
August 25: Cannon Program
