JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JAN. 28, 2025 – Explore the topics of historic tax credits, historic districts and National Register Listings for Missouri residents at a historic preservation workshop from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Daniel Boone Regional Library in Columbia.
The workshop is cohosted by Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, the City of Columbia Historic Preservation Commission, CoMo Preservation and the Columbia Public Library. Participants will learn how to list their property on the National Register of Historic Places and how to apply for historic tax credits when considering rehabilitating historic and residential and commercial properties in Missouri. Team members from the Missouri State Historic Preservation Office, including grants manager Andrew Dial, National Register expert April Scott and historic tax credits expert Elizabeth Hornbeck, will lead the workshop.
