JEFFERSON CITY, MO, JUNE 10, 2019 – Come to the park for a day of adventure! Kid’s Fishing Explorer Day, sponsored by Missouri State Parks and the Missouri Department of Conservation, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 15, at Wallace State Park.
Kids and family members can cast their lines into Lake Allaman. Fishing Poles, bait and assistance will be provided. Parents are encouraged to attend. A fishing license is not required during the event.
Wallace State Park is located six miles south of Cameron on Highway 121. From interstate 35, take Exit 48, go south on Highway 69 for one-half mile, and then take Highway 121 for one mile to the park entrance. For more information about the event, contact the park at 816-632-3745.
