JEFFERSON CITY, MO, APRIL 16, 2019 – Spend the day outdoors and help one of Missouri's most scenic state parks by volunteering at the 27th annual "Keep Baker Beautiful Day" from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 27 at Sam A. Baker State Park.

This special event celebrating Earth Day and Missouri Beautification Month will enlist the help of volunteers to get the park in shape for the upcoming season. There will be tasks available for all ages. Bring a pair of work gloves and drinking water, wear closed-toe shoes and join the fun.

Contact the park by April 25 to register. In case of severe or inclement weather, the event will be cancelled.  Meet at Shelter #1 behind the store at 8:30 a.m. to get your project assignments.
